Lumber painting in production

Under the influence of moisture and ultraviolet light, the wood is gradually destroyed. That is why wooden houses need to be painted from the outside and from the inside. Standard painting on the construction site depends on weather conditions, wind and rain can delay the process, in turn, painting in production guarantees speed and 100% compliance with the technological process of painting.

Technological processes of timber painting at the facility:

• The timber is 100% sanded to white, thereby removing the entire top layer of oxidized wood
• Antiseptic and primer are applied
• 2-3 coats of paint are applied
  

Technological processes of timber painting in production:

• The bar does not require sanding! The compositions are applied immediately after the gouging stage, on clean freshly planed wood;
• A tinted impregnation of multifunctional wood (primer + paint) is applied on both sides.

• When the timber shrinks, there are no visible imperfections, because the timber is painted on all sides in production.

For painting timber in production, we use SHERWIN WILLIAMS tinted impregnation (manufactured in Sweden).

It is a universal 3-in-1 coloring compound, used as a primer, intermediate and finishing coating for exterior building structures made of wood that require shrinkage.

Technical characteristics of the SHERWIN WILLIAMS tinted impregnation :

• Light-resistant, weather-resistant pigments + UV protection.
• 100% protection against mold and rot.
• It does not contain any chemical compounds that can adversely affect the human body (confirmed by a certificate).
• It does not disrupt the process of air exchange in the upper layers of wood (a guarantee of the absence of mold and rot in the wood).
• The coating is resistant to aggressive environment (weather conditions, mechanical influences)
• It does not create a foil, therefore, unlike conventional paints, it does not crack from pressure, temperature and humidity fluctuations
• It does not require pre-priming, the impregnation is self-priming.
• It is not subject to peeling, due to the fact that it penetrates deep into the structure of the wood.
